What: A bank holiday in Fowey
When: May 2017
Distance from home: 270 miles
Length of adventure: Three nights
Details: Last year we went to Penzance with my parents for a long weekend and we enjoyed it so much we decided to go back to Cornwall again – this time we went to Fowey.
What did we do?
- To be honest Fowey was so charming we spent most of our time there pottering around the town eating Cornish pasties and looking at the little boats.
- We walked to St Catherine’s Castle and to Readymoney Cove where we skimmed stones!
- We also drove to Par Sands beach and Porthpean
- Other than drinking wine while admiring the view from where we were staying we didn’t really do much else.
